We at Jamia Hazrat Fatima
The existence of women is a great reward of Allah Almighty. It is the presence of women that makes the universe colourful, adds beauty and glory to the human life and brings grace and luster in the life at home. Being a daughter, a sister, a wife or a mother, she is always the source of delight and the reason of hearty cheerfulness in the family. With her stepping into the world, the doors of Allah's Mercy open for her father and mother. As she grows she reigns over the hearts of brothers. When she becomes a wife, she gets the invigorating good news: ھن لباس لکم وانتم لباس لھن and she acts as a protector of half of her husband's faith. On becoming a mother she enjoys a special place in the Quranic Verses such as وَ بِالْوٰلِدَیۡنِ اِحْسٰنًا … فَلَا تَقُلۡ لَّہُما اُفٍّ وَّلَا تَنْہَرھُمَا … وَقُلۡ لَّہُمَا قَوْلًاکَرِیۡمًا … and وَ اخْفِضْ لَہُمَا جَنَاحَ الذُّلِّ مِنَ الرَّحْمَۃِ … وَقُلْ رَّبِّ ارْحَمْہُمَا کَمَا رَبَّیٰنِیۡ صَغِیۡرًا .
With reference to women, this idea of sanctity and this concept of their greatness and purity, is in no other religion than Islam. The existence of women in Islam is not just the fulfillment of desires, but training of generations, their proper development and formation of a righteous society are the main reasons of their existence.
What to say of women, the entire Muslim society is quite away from education today. This class is either totally deprived of education or if it is somewhat educated it is quite unaware of the religious education and the objective of its creation. If we realize that the mother's lap is the child's first school, it is necessary for us that we become serious about stability of this school and make sincere and honest efforts to make it effective in every way. If we do not strengthen ourselves today, it will be severely pathetic for our religion, society and family in the time to come. It is a matter of satisfactory to a certain extent that now our responsible scholars have drawn their attention towards this issue and educational institutions for education and training of girls are being established.
There was no notable institution of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama’ah especially established in Patna (Azimabad) for education and training of the Muslim girls. The responsible scholars and well-wishers of our community used to be worried about it. But, Alhamdulillah, the clouds of regret have cleared and a ray of hope has appeared now. Having made the authorities of the Shia waqf Board aware of our requirement and with their kind consideration and support we have acquired a piece of land from them. The foundation stone of Jamia Hazrat Fatima Zahra was laid on the 7th of August 2019. By the grace of Allah, the construction of the roof of the ground floor was completed on the 12th of December 2020. The pandemic of Covid-19 did not allow us to do anything for two years. But, as soon as the clouds of this disaster disappeared, the construction started again and it is going on until now. The Maktab Jamia Hazrat Fatima was inaugurated on the 31st of March 2022 and Islamic Scholars, Imams, honorable Mashaikh and the Deen loving personalities attended the Inauguration Ceremony.
Alhamdulillah, teaching at the Maktab is going on currently. A total of 72 male and female students are studying under the supervision of two teachers. After the completion of the construction of the first floor, the education for Aalim and Fazil classes will be started in a full-fledged way.
